Job Description

Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials to support students in a dynamic educational environment for the upcoming school year. This onsite, contract position calls for an experienced professional ready to make a positive impact from August through late May.
Key Qualifications:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure required Direct experience working as a Behavior Specialist in school settings Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Strong skillset in developing and implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Excellent communication and data analysis abilities
Position Responsibilities:
Provide behavioral assessments and design individual intervention plans for students Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices in behavioral management Monitor student progress with data-driven reporting and adjust plans as necessary Maintain thorough documentation of all assessments, interventions, and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and serve as an advocate for student success Remain current with best practices, research, and compliance standards related to behavioral support in schools
