Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and positive environment that encourages learning and growth Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members to provide updates on progress and address concerns Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder Proficiency in assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions for ongoing assessment Excellent teaching skills combined with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Familiarity with special education practices and behavioral health concepts Join us in making a meaningful difference!
