Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®)

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our growing team! In this role, you will work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support their growth and development. Responsibilities:

Implement individualized treatment plans under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®), ensuring adherence to the BACB guidelines and Arkansas state regulations. Provide direct, one-on-one therapy using ABA techniques, ensuring that all practices are in line with ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) and Arkansas regulations on therapeutic practices. Collect data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions. Collaborate with the BCBA® to develop and modify treatment plans as needed. Monitor and document client progress, including behavioral changes and skill acquisition. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions. Ensure compliance with confidentiality laws, including HIPAA, to protect the privacy of all clients. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB® and Arkansas state laws, including reporting requirements for any instances of abuse or neglect. Skills:

Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Familiarity with ABA techniques and a willingness to undergo ongoing training to stay updated on ethical standards set by the BACB®. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work within a collaborative team setting. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members. Knowledge of and adherence to the BACB® Professional and Ethical Compliance Code. Candidates must have or be willing to pursue certification as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) within six months of employment, if applicable. Ability to consistently follow ethical guidelines as outlined by the BACB®, including but not limited to maintaining client confidentiality, avoiding dual relationships, and providing services solely in the best interests of clients.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have or be willing to pursue certification as an RBT® within six months of employment. Must be comfortable working with children and able to implement ABA therapy consistently.
