Our team is dedicated to helping children build communication, social, behavioral, and independence skills through compassionate, evidence-based practices. We are seeking a caring, energetic, and motivated Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. This position provides direct one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism and other developmental differences under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Position Summary Behavior Technicians implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA to help children build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Team members work directly with clients in clinic, preschool, community, and play-based settings while collecting data, collaborating with families and professionals, and supporting positive outcomes. Behavior Technicians receive ongoing supervision, training, and professional development in accordance with BACB guidelines. Essential ResponsibilitiesDirect Client Services Provide one-on-one ABA therapy services to clients. Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs designed by the BCBA. Utilize reinforcement strategies and evidence-based ABA techniques. Support communication, social, play, self-help, and adaptive skill development. Maintain a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment. Data Collection & Documentation Accurately collect and record behavioral and skill acquisition data. Complete session notes and documentation in a timely manner. Assist with assessments and treatment-related activities under BCBA supervision. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Collaboration & Professionalism Collaborate with BCBAs, families, teachers, and other professionals. Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries. Follow BACB Ethics Code and company policies. Participate in supervision meetings, team trainings, and professional development opportunities. Seek guidance and feedback to continuously improve clinical skills. Health & Safety Follow all safety procedures and crisis protocols. Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment. Support clients during transitions, community outings, and group activities when applicable. Knowledge & Qualifications Preferred candidates demonstrate knowledge of: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and neurodiversity-affirming supports Behavior intervention and reinforcement strategies Data collection and progress monitoring Child development and age-appropriate learning activities Professional ethics, confidentiality, and client rights Safety practices in educational and therapeutic environments Skills & Attributes We are looking for team members who are: ✔ Patient, compassionate, and energetic ✔ Reliable and dependable ✔ Strong communicators ✔ Organized and detail-oriented ✔ Comfortable receiving coaching and feedback ✔ Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team ✔ Passionate about helping children learn and grow ✔ Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Minimum Requirements At least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Minimum six months of childcare, education, behavioral health, or related experience preferred Reliable transportation Required Certifications Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain) CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain) Valid Driver's License Proof of Automobile Insurance Preferred Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities Article 9 Training Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, ABA, or related field Physical Requirements This position requires frequent: Standing, walking, sitting, and moving quickly throughout the day Bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting Participating in play-based activities with children Responding to behavioral and safety situations Working both indoors and outdoors as needed Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Work Environment Behavior Technicians work in preschool, clinic, and community-based settings with children. Employees may occasionally encounter aggressive behaviors, property destruction, biting, scratching, elopement attempts, or other behaviors associated with developmental disabilities. Ongoing training and support are provided to ensure employee and client safety.
