Qualifications:

Experience supporting students with behavioral or social‑emotional needs in a school setting. Strong understanding of behavior strategies, de‑escalation, and positive behavior supports. Ability to collect and document behavior data accurately. Effective communication and collaboration with teachers and school staff. High school diploma required; many districts prefer related college coursework.

Responsibilities:

Implement behavior plans and support students throughout the school day. Assist with de‑escalation and maintain a safe, structured environment. Collect and report behavior data to the school team. Support students during transitions, specials, lunch, and recess. Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure consistent behavior support.
