Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team in delivering high-quality behavioral health services. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized treatment plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Your energetic approach and positive attitude will help foster meaningful progress and improve quality of life for those we serve. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under supervision of licensed clinicians Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients during therapy sessions, encouraging skill development and positive behavior change Assist with patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations as needed Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for working effectively with children and individuals with disabilities Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, or special education is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Strong interest in working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain thorough medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and families Patient, empathetic demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient assessment and care High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in behavioral health or related fields are a plus Requirements 18+ High School Diploma/GED Reliable Transportations Valid Car Registration Valid Car Insurance Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or Ability to Obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance CPR Training or Ability to Obtain CPR Training Join us in making a positive impact through energetic engagement and dedicated support.
