Job Description

Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, with both in-clinic and in-home services. We service clients with behavior, cognitive, developmental needs from 18 months into adulthood. We offer caring ABA therapy centered around the client's voice and experience. Position Summary As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be providing services to children with a range of cognitive, behavioral, developmental disorders/diagnoses. You will work directly with board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) to deliver and implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming. In addition, you will also collect data, manage problem behaviors, and receive training in all areas of direct service delivery. You will primarily serve an instructional role teaching in the areas of social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care skills. The preferred candidate will be passionate about working with children on the autism spectrum.

Education/Certification/Experience Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required), bachelor's degree in related field (preferred).
Certifications:
RBT certification (preferred).
Experience:
6-12 months working in ABA therapy. Physical Requirements Standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to lift up to 40 pounds approximately. Additional Criteria Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card. What if you are not a Registered Behavior Technician yet? If you have experience in early intervention, a preschool setting, or other areas of behavioral health, but don't have your RBT through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, we can help get you to the next level! If you are offered a position with Thrive we will put you through our RBT training process. This consists of 40 - 50 hours of Thrive provided coursework, check-ins with our Trainer, and expectation that you sit for your test and obtain your RBT within 90 days of your hire date.
