Arizona Autism is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to implement behavioral therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This person should possess the following attributes:Enthusiasm:
Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the BCBA, focusing on behavioral health and therapeutic interventions.Support:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve quality of life.Data Collection:
Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Documentation :
Maintain medical records and documentation related to patient care, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to medical terminology standards.Collaboration:
Work with team members to assess client needs and adjust treatment plans as necessary.Flexibility:
Provide support and guidance to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.Continuing Education:
Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to behavioral therapy and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Qualifications Previous experience in patient care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation is highly desirable. Familiarity with data collection methods used in behavioral health settings. Understanding of behavioral therapy principles and techniques. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. A patient-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, respect, and dignity for all clients.Job Types:
