Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans, support patient assessments, and assist in data collection to promote meaningful progress. Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will help foster a positive environment where clients can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Work 1 on 1 with a child or adult with special needs and follow the treatment plan to improve the clients life. Run social groups with clients Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), tailored to each client's needs. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions. Support patient assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations under supervision to help develop effective treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate medical documentation. Support clients during therapy sessions, providing patience and encouragement to foster engagement and learning. Maintain detailed records of patient progress, treatment notes, and medical documentation in accordance with privacy regulations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in special education or behavior analysis are a plus. Bilingual in spanish preferred Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy or applied behavior analysis (ABA) preferred. Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills for working with diverse populations. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment focused on patient care and behavioral health.
