Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Senior Trainer / Person to join our team! In this vital role, you will lead training initiatives, mentor staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral interventions. Your expertise will help shape effective treatment plans, support patient care, and promote positive behavior management strategies across our programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with special needs while advancing your career in behavioral health. Duties Lead training sessions on behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis and behavior management strategies Mentor and supervise junior staff and therapists to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and best practices Assist with developing, implementing, and updating individualized care plans for clients with developmental disabilities Collect, analyze, and document data related to behavior interventions and progress monitoring in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support the delivery of services that involve working directly with children and individuals with autism, ensuring compassionate patient care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize therapeutic outcomes Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, medical records, and reports using appropriate medical terminology Qualifications Proven experience in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or related fields working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and special education principles Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and supporting patient care needs Familiarity with medical documentation procedures, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology Excellent communication skills for teaching, coaching, and collaborating effectively within a team Ability to collect precise data for progress tracking and treatment adjustments Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, education, social work or a related field; certification in behavior analysis (e.g., BCBA or RBT) is preferred Join us at Uplift ABA to be part of a passionate team committed to transforming lives through innovative behavioral health services.
