  • Position Summary
  • The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavior-analytic services to students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs in a school-based setting.
The BCBA collaborates with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers to design, implement, and monitor evidence-based behavior intervention programs that support student success and compliance with IDEA and California education requirements. ??

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Behavior Assessment & Intervention
  • + Conduct
  • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • and behavior observations in classrooms and other school environments + Develop, implement, and monitor
  • Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • aligned with IEP goals + Use data-driven decision-making to adjust interventions and track student progress + Provide crisis intervention support and de-escalation strategies when needed
  • Collaboration & Consultation
  • + Collaborate with
  • special education teachers, general education teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and related service providers
  • + Participate in
  • IEP meetings
  • , SST meetings, and manifestation determination reviews + Provide ongoing consultation to classroom staff regarding positive behavior supports
  • Training & Supervision
  • + Train teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff on behavior intervention strategies + Provide supervision and mentorship to RBTs or behavior support staff (if applicable) + Ensure fidelity of implementation across school settings

  • IDEA, FERPA, and California Department of Education (CDE) standards

  • Required
  • + Current
  • BCBA certification
  • through the BACB + Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field + Experience working with students with
  • autism, emotional disturbances, ADHD, or other behavioral needs
  • + Strong knowledge of school-based behavior systems and IEP processes + Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Preferred

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst - ES provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst - ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.
  • Minimum Requirements:
