Hiring Behavioral Technicians in Burbank Unified Amergis Healthcare Staffing - 3.4 Burbank, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $660 a week 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications CPR Certification High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Overview The Behavior Technician provides direct educational and behavioral support to children and adults with special needs. This role works collaboratively with school staff, behavioral specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to help students meet individualized learning and behavioral goals. The technician supports the implementation of behavior intervention plans, skill-building programs, and classroom strategies designed to promote student success. Key Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a behavioral specialist Support students in achieving individualized learning and behavioral objectives Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams Collect and document behavioral and educational data Assist in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred Current CPR certification, if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray, if applicable Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Must be at least 18 years old
