The Behavior Support Specialist role is designed for experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are ready to take on a more advanced, clinically involved position while continuing to work directly with clients. In this role, you will collaborate side‑by‑side with the case BCBA , contributing beyond basic implementation. Behavior Support Specialists support program updates, data review, development of client‑specific materials, and refinement of intervention strategies to help drive meaningful, measurable outcomes for children and families. Behavior Support Specialists may also assist with supporting other staff, developing clinical resources, and strengthening treatment quality across cases. This is more than a job—it's a career path for professionals who are passionate about clinical excellence, collaboration, and making a lasting impact on the families they serve.​ Key Responsibilities Implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision Collect and analyze data on client progress Write accurate session notes and progress reports Provide parent training and coaching Model evidence-based strategies in naturalistic settings Maintain consistent scheduling and proactive communication Participate in team meetings and professional development Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology, Education, or related field and with 1+ years of ABA experience
OR RBT/ BCAT
certification with 2+ years of ABA experience CPR certification, TB clearance, immunization records Ability to pass background check Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on the floor with children Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred​ Ability to use computers/tablets, email, video‑conferencing apps (e.g., Zoom/Teams), and ABA data‑collection software (i.e., Rethink, Central Reach). Able to enter session notes and behavior data electronically in a timely manner; training provided for all systems.
Compensation Direct Services:
$23•27/hour
Administrative Tasks, Travel, Training:
