Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract This contract opportunity in Woodland, CA, seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide dedicated one-on-one support to a first-grade male student in a general education setting. The student exhibits intense behaviors including attention-seeking and avoidance. Collaborating closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will help implement and follow a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) tailored to the student's needs. A paraprofessional is also assigned to assist with the caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized behavioral support using evidence-based techniques. Collaborate with BCBA to effectively implement the BIP. Monitor and record student progress and behavioral data. Adapt interventions based on ongoing observations and team feedback. Maintain communication with school staff and family as appropriate. Support the student in general education activities and promote positive behavior.
Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required. Experience working with young children exhibiting challenging behaviors. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including BCBAs and paraprofessionals. Strong observational and data collection skills. Patience, flexibility, and a student-centered approach.
Schedule:
Full-time contract from ASAP through June 5, 2026. Approximately 35 hours per week. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting a student's behavioral and educational growth within a structured school environment. The role is ideal for an RBT dedicated to applying behavior analysis methods in collaboration with a supportive team. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to begin this rewarding contract assignment in Woodland, CA. Compensation for this position ranges from $23.80 to $43.80.
