Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a caring, fun, creative, dedicated, compassionate, flexible, bilingual (Arabic, Spanish other) Behavior Technician to join our great team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly those with autism, to implement behavior plans and provide support in various settings.
Duties:
  • Run ABA sessions
  • Work directly with individuals to teach and reinforce positive behaviors at home and sometimes at schools
  • Implements behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
  • Collect and record data on individual progress and behavior
  • Work with the clinical team to make sure effective implementation of care plans
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Document medical information accurately using medical terminology
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of some ABA strategies
  • Admin skills to understand how email works and other basic tasks
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency in data collection and record keeping/admin tasks
  • Background in special education or related field is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus (Arabic, Aramaic or Spanish)
  • Able to work between 09:00-7:00 PM for a minimum of 10 hours and up to 15 hours a week.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team who brings care and positivity
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred but not required This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives while gaining valuable experience in the field of behavioral health.
