Behavior Technician:
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adults in home and community settings. Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and allied specialists to implement positive interventions. Support clients in achieving goals through evidence-based strategies under the supervision of a BCBA. Prevent and manage challenging behaviors with specialized techniques. Maintain accurate records of client progress and implement behavior plans consistently. Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and complete assigned readings to stay informed. Travel to client locations as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Age:
High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of experience working with PRE K children, preferably in a related field, within the last 5 years.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to run, stand, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Technology Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, email, and the ability to learn new systems/software.
Travel:
Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
Compliance:
Ability to pass a criminal background check and TB test (dated within the last 4 years).
