Job Description

Ascent ABA is a California-based, clinician
  • and family-owned provider dedicated to delivering high-quality ABA services to children with autism and related developmental disabilities.
We are committed to supporting our team through training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development. This is an entry-level role within the ABA field, and we provide training to help you succeed. However, candidates must have prior experience working with children. At Ascent ABA, we value the professional growth and success of our staff. We incorporate OBM strategies such as feedback, mentoring, and pay for performance to empower our staff to achieve their best performance and continually develop their skills. The responsibilities of Lead Behavior Technicians encompass various tasks, including: Assisting with in field new hire training Implementing function-based behavior plans Implementing PRT Implementing BST Employing intensive ABA teaching methods Providing community-based instruction Teaching functional life skills Offering services in homes, communities, or school settings. The role may also involve physical activities like lifting, kneeling, and bending.

Dedication and empathy for working with children affected by autism and their families. Enthusiasm to join a dynamic, compassionate, and energetic team of professionals. Eagerness and openness to learn and receive feedback. Strong commitment to consistent and reliable work. Willingness to conduct therapy sessions at the patient's residence, school, or community setting.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in college and majoring in psychology or related field. Minimum age of 18 years. 6+ months of ABA experience or equivalent paid or volunteer work with children Ability to assist patients and lift up to 30 pounds. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Valid US Work authorization. Drivers license
Travel:
The Lead Behavior Technician role involves fieldwork and frequent travel within the designated region to various clients. The ideal candidate should have a dependable mode of transportation. Our cases are primarily in the Inland Empire region, including Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, and Fontana.
