Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting a kindergarten student in a special day class setting as a Registered Behavior Technician in a contract opportunity for the upcoming school year. This position offers 30-32 hours per week and is ideal for someone passionate about fostering growth and success for young learners needing extra support.
Desired qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred Familiarity with special education environments, particularly at the kindergarten level Candidates residing locally are preferred, as travel candidates are not being considered Willingness to complete a full background check, including district-specific fingerprinting and onboarding Ability to submit required documentation, such as an RBT credential, completed worksheets, and an updated resume In this position, you will: Provide individualized behavioral support to a kindergarten student in a classroom dedicated to special needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other support staff to deliver effective interventions Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA (to be provided by the agency) Collect and document data related to student progress and communicate with the educational team Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based practices to encourage development and participation Benefits of this contract role include a structured daytime schedule for a great work-life balance and the rewarding experience of helping a young student thrive in their educational environment.
