Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, helping clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to each client's needs, utilizing behavioral therapy techniques rooted in ABA. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment strategies. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, dressing, and toileting, promoting independence. Support clients during teaching sessions that focus on communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans, progress notes, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to adjust interventions based on data insights and client response. Foster a positive environment that encourages learning, patience, and growth while managing challenging behaviors effectively. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral management strategies is essential. Experience in special education or teaching roles that involve behavior support is advantageous. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to collect detailed data accurately and utilize it to adapt interventions effectively. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with clients' families and multidisciplinary teams.
