Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized treatment plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Your energetic approach will help foster meaningful progress, promote independence, and improve quality of life for those you serve. Responsibilities Implement personalized behavior intervention plans designed by licensed behavior analysts to promote positive behaviors and skill development. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients during daily activities, including therapy sessions, social interactions, and routine tasks, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment. Assist with patient assessments and intake procedures to gather comprehensive information about clients' needs and goals. Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and integrity of client information. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to reinforce therapeutic strategies across settings. Participate in ongoing training on behavioral health techniques, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation methods to enhance your skills. Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education strategies. Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions and daily activities. Strong understanding of medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment, team collaboration, and family engagement. Compassionate attitude with a dedication to patient care and behavioral health improvement.
