In this vital role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering evidence-based behavioral therapy to an individual with developmental disabilities, including autism. Your passion for helping others will drive positive change as you implement personalized care plans, assist with daily living skills, community integration and foster meaningful progress. Duties Conduct 1:1 ABA sessions or Adaptive Skills Training sessions with individual with autism Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to support independence. Also assist client with shopping, social recreation and community integration Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, adaptive behaviors, and other developmental goals Collaborate closely with BCBA supervisor, families, and multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans tailored to the individual's needs Maintain high attendance Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, patience, and understanding for the individual with autism and other developmental disabilities Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Proficiency in assisting with ADLs, community integration and implementing behavior management strategies Ability to collect detailed data accurately and analyze trends to adapt interventions effectively Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and empathy when working with the individual with behavioral health needs Effective communication skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams Ability to take and implement constructive feedback Bachelor's degree required Reliable transportation Passing background check Part-time job 6 hours per week 5-7pm In-home and community sessions
