Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Take your expertise in behavior analysis to the next level with a rewarding contract opportunity in an elementary school district near Lancaster, CA. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-27 academic year, working a standard 37.5-40 hours per week as a valued member of a collaborative team. This unique itinerant position empowers you to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and design effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). You'll consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, psychologists, social workers, and fellow BCBAs, providing expert support for student behaviors ranging from mild to severe.
Ideal candidates demonstrate:
At least 1 year of school-based BCBA experience Active BCBA certification in good standing from the BACB Crisis intervention and de-escalation training Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Reliable transportation for travel between sites Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes Your key responsibilities will include: Completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Crafting individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Providing ongoing consultation and training for district staff Assisting with data collection, analysis, and goal setting Supporting teams with strategies for both mild and complex behavioral needs For those with experience, compensation ranges from $55-65 per hour.
