Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives through a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This full-time, contract position offers the chance to positively impact the educational and emotional development of children and adolescents in a supportive, collaborative school environment—all while expanding your professional experience.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral support settings Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and school staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, adaptable, and compassionate approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students, implementing behavior intervention plans as directed by a supervising BCBA Track student behavior and collect accurate data to monitor progress and inform interventions Collaborate with school staff and families to promote consistency, skill development, and positive growth Assist with classroom management and foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment Respond to crisis situations in accordance with student safety plans Attend regular supervision sessions and team meetings
