Working with the client in their natural environment (i.e. family home). The BT will report in to the Case Supervisor (20% direct supervision) and be directly overseen by family caregiver / family member. The average session is 2.5-3 hours in length . The most common session schedule time for our part-time Behavior Technicians is 3-6pm or 4-7pm (or similar) on weekdays. We have immediate openings available for a Behavior Technician with availability of: Monday-Friday from 1:00pm-7:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00am-2:00pm . Weekly hours typically range from 8-16 hours per week.

Job Description:

Work 1:1 with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental and/or behavioral disabilities Implement skill acquisition programs to teach social, communication, safety, and daily living skills Implement behavior reduction programs Utilize crisis management and de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety of kiddos and others Data collection and graphing Good ethics, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Work collaboratively with other specialists (Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, etc.) Conduct parent education

Job Qualifications:

Applicants must have a vehicle and be a named person on the current insurance policy of the vehicle they drive Applicants must be passionate about Psychology, Sociology, Education, Human Services, Social Work or related field Applicants should have experience working with children and their families Individuals with prior experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental and/or behavioral disabilities will be given preference. •INSPIRA is willing to train high energy, compassionate, and patient individuals who possess the desire to learn and grow in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
