Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Service Provider and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized support. In this role, you will deliver compassionate, high quality, and hands-on assistance to individuals with diverse needs. Momentum Academy's programs are built on an integrated, play-based approach where movement, therapy, and connection come together. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and empowered to reach their potential. We offer recreational and therapeutic services to children and adults with Autism and special needs through clinic based ABA, Social Skills, and adaptive Gymnastics. Occupational and Speech Therapy coming soon! Delivers 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients with developmental or behavioral needs in the clinic setting. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the DSP implements treatment plans, collects data, and assists in promoting skill acquisition and behavior reduction. At Momentum Academy this role also includes providing direct service such as implementing curriculum and goals in the Social Skills and Gymnastics programs. Engage clients in recreational, social, and therapeutic programs tailored to individual preferences and needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties aligned with health standards. Follow all HIPAA guidelines to protect clients' privacy and confidentiality at all times. Manage conflict or behavioral challenges using prescribed behavior intervention plans that include de-escalation techniques and behavior management strategies. Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions (i.e. DTT, PECS, NET, PRT, etc.) to children and adults with special needs in a 1:1 setting in clinic. Collaborate with Directors, Mid-level supervisors, BCBA'S, and family members to deliver quality service. Collect data accurately and thoroughly using internal systems; ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Participate in ongoing training related to autism support, first aid certification, crisis prevention intervention, and other relevant areas to enhance your skills. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for clients, families, and co-workers. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Board of Directors to support organizational goals Requirements 1 year or more of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis or gymnastics 1 year or more of experience with individuals with Autism Highschool Diploma or GED Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Registered Behavior Technician Certification Valid driver's license (preferred) Vehicle (preferred) Proof of car Insurance (preferred) Certification in first aid and CPR (preferred) Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, healthcare teams and colleagues. Ability to handle sensitive situations with patience, compassion and professionalism. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Business Hours 8:30am-6pm
