Pay Rate:
Behavioral Specialist = $23-$25/hour
Registered Behavior Technician:
$30/hour

Both part-time and full-time hours are available

Job Overview:
Our skilled and supportive program staff provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities as they engage their community around them. As a Behavioral Specialist or Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) you will provide supervision, education, and job training on-site and in the community for adults with developmental and emotional disabilities. By joining UCPNB's, Marin Adult Day Program you will help provide a variety of vocational, social and recreational opportunities for our participants, including the opportunity to join camps and outdoor adventure activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport individuals to and from the clubhouse and activities Arrive at participants homes at 8:00am and end your day at last drop off by 4:00pm Provide behavioral support and coaching Provide job and life skills coaching Provide support with hygiene care when needed Create a fun and compassionate environment for participants Join recreational activities such as hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Valid California Driver's license with a clear driving record Cleared fingerprint/background test required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test required Negative TB test and medical examination required Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in employment, education, and recreation programs preferred Knowledge of Marin County and experience coordinating outings for our population preferred First Aid certified or willing to become certified required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Respond well to direction and work effectively with others Work cooperatively with staff and provide excellent care for employees with disabilities Bilingual in ASL or Spanish is a plus Registered Behavioral Technician requires completed RBT certification and ability to maintain certification under a BCBA with UCPNB. •Registered Behavior Technicians are a high need for us. If you have any questions on how to become an RBT we can support you in obtaining or updating your certification.
