Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an educational setting. Make a meaningful impact by helping children achieve their behavioral, social, and academic goals. Utilize your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide essential support and guidance alongside dedicated educators and specialists.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active RBT certification required. Experience delivering ABA therapy to children, preferably in a school setting. Familiarity with data collection, behavior intervention plans, and individualized education plans (IEPs). Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families. Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping students develop positive behaviors.
Role Responsibilities:
Implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect, record, and summarize data on student behavior and progress. Support students' individual goals outlined in their behavioral and educational plans. Collaborate daily with educators, therapists, and school staff to ensure consistency in intervention and support. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and development. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
