The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with Autism and other disabilities, providing behavioral therapy and support. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, writing session notes, attending team meetings, and implementing evidence-based interventions on a consultative basis to improve the quality of life for our clients. The Behavioral Consultant will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Implement behavior consultation tailored to each client's unique situation. Collect and analyze research data to measure the effectiveness of interventions. Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic support. Provide training and guidance to caregivers on effective behavioral strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on best practices in special education and behavioral health. Submit session notes within 24-hours of the session Respond to email correspondences within 24-hours of communication. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with Autism or other developmental disabilities is essential. Strong understanding of ABA techniques Knowledge of medical terminology related to patient care and disabilities. Experience in special education settings is a plus. Ability to conduct research data collection effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients and their families. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently. A background in working with adolescent to adult population is highly recommended.
