The Behavior Technician will work with individuals to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). At PBA you will be joining a small, BCBA owned, company where you can expect 25-40% of your work supervised. If interested in advancing in your career, the BCBAs offer extra supervision and room to grow. PBA values clinical quality, ethical practices, and strong work life balance. Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Collect and record data on observable client behavior
  • Educate clients and caregivers on implementing behavior support strategies
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Acquiring an RBT credential within 90 days of hire. Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience or knowledge in ADLs, special education, and behavioral health is preferred
  • RBT credential is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish (or another language) is preferred.
  • Ability to be coachable, accept and implement feedback on the job.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and work as a team.
