Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their full potential by applying your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within a dynamic school setting near San Mateo, CA. This contract opportunity supports students, staff, and families by partnering to design and implement behavior programs that foster academic and social success.
What We're Looking For:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience working in school-based settings or with children and adolescents Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support teams Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in diverse classroom environments Comfortable providing staff training and student support Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices for behavior management
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine behavioral needs of students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff on effective behavioral strategies Provide hands-on modeling and training for educational staff Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing interventions Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring Serve as a resource for families to support continuity of care across settings
