Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity serving students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a supportive, collaborative school-based environment near Santa Clara, CA. Your deep knowledge of behavioral interventions will help students thrive and reach their individual goals. You'll be an integral collaborator in multidisciplinary teams of educators and specialists, using your expertise to guide both students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
Current BCBA certification required Previous experience working in a public or private school setting Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Solid understanding of behavioral assessment, plan development, and data collection Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments Adaptability and collaborative spirit to engage with diverse teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct behavioral assessment, analysis, and intervention within the school setting Supervise and support RBTs to ensure high-quality implementation of behavior intervention plans Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support personnel to develop strategies for student success Train staff regarding behavioral principles, data collection, and plan implementation Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain effective documentation Participate in IEP and team meetings; offer expertise on behavior intervention and support This contract role offers a meaningful way to influence student growth, while further developing your own professional skills in an educational setting.
