Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students in a school-based environment as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This full-time contract position is based near Turlock, CA, and offers 35 hours per week, ideal for a dedicated professional seeking to make a meaningful impact in educational settings for the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. Experience working in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff. Skilled in implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision. Strong organizational and communication abilities. Commitment to ethical standards and professional growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions to support student success. Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress toward behavioral goals. Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, and other school professionals to foster a supportive learning environment. Implement evidence-based strategies and follow individualized education and behavior plans. Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing case discussions. Communicate effectively with families while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
