Location:

Upland and surrounding areas.

Pay:

$20-$25/hour Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Classroom Technician to provide behavioral support services in a school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide personal care and behavioral assistance to assigned student(s). + Support students with classroom activities, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and meal prep. + Implement behavioral plans and interventions. + Assist in managing difficult behaviors and crisis situations. + Encourage independence and maintain student safety. + Document care and complete incident logs per Amergis policies. + Communicate regularly with Amergis office staff and confirm weekly schedules. + Adapt to assignment changes as requested by clients. + Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred). + Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. + Current CPR certification. + Current TB skin test or chest X-ray. + Health certificate (if applicable) + Successful completion of Amergis onboarding and testing process.
