Currently Seeking to Fill Monday - Friday / Sun-Sat 2 pm-10pm As a Behavior Technician you would be responsible of training direct staff to implement behavior strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors. Behavior Technicians effectively interacts with staff, families, consumers and/or any other representative in the process of planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation of service for client.

Minimum 6 months of experience in the field RBT Certificate (Registered Behavior Technician) Must be able to pass and maintain a clear background check through the Department of Justice, in compliance of Title 17 and program design regulations. Previous experience in ABA (preferred) Experience in the field or working with individuals with developmental disabilities with behavioral challenges. Organized, good attention to detail, and excellent time management Ability to communicate with diverse audiences Legal and Reliable transportation to drive on company time for company business.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Must be able to work independently. Must comply & be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Ensure protection of proprietary company and confidential client/consumer information. Assist with training of all assigned staff in behavior management strategies. Participate in the development of behavior snapshots, behavior intervention plans, and/or FBAs. Model appropriate behavior strategies. Assessment of the functions of maladaptive behavior & provide consultation to support staff and supervisors. Model appropriate behavior strategies at all times & conduct behavior competencies on direct service staff Demonstrate effective rapport-building skills.
