The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certified in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a certificated team member that holds a BCBA certification, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform. RBTs work with students who demonstrate behavior that impacts their education and are supported via an Individualized Education Program (IEP). Support services include student observations and consultation with a certificated team member that holds a BCBA certification. The candidate's portion of the fingerprinting fee is $40.00.
