Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in classrooms near Winton, CA, working 35 hours each week. As an RBT, you'll collaborate closely with educators and support staff to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. You'll help foster a productive and inclusive learning environment, guiding students in developing vital social, behavioral, and academic skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and caregivers Flexible, organized, and compassionate approach
Responsibilities:
Carry out one-on-one and small group interventions, as directed by supervising BCBA or school staff Collect and document behavioral data consistently and accurately Support students in achieving IEP and behavioral goals Provide feedback and updates to team members on student progress Foster a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for individuals with behavioral challenges Attend meetings, trainings, or consultations as required This is a rewarding chance to make a significant impact while further developing your expertise in behavioral support within an educational environment.
