Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Behavior Technician (BT), where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement individualized behavior plans, assist with daily living activities, and foster positive growth through evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients' developmental goals Collect and record data on behaviors, progress, and skill acquisition accurately and consistently to inform treatment strategies Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks Support teaching sessions by reinforcing positive behaviors and guiding skill development in various settings Collaborate with supervising clinicians and team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date Foster a safe, supportive environment by managing behaviors effectively through positive reinforcement and behavioral management techniques Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of behavioral therapy methods, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is advantageous Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards related to behavioral health Experience assisting with special education or teaching students with diverse needs is a plus Demonstrated patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and families Ability to follow detailed care plans and procedures while maintaining flexibility in dynamic environments Previous exposure to HIPAA compliance and medical documentation practices is beneficial Join our team today and receive a $500 sign on bonus after 60 days of active employment!!
