The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to provide high-quality care. Duties Conduct FBAs to assess the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques. Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients. Provide training and support to staff on behavior management strategies and best practices. Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is essential. Strong knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Familiarity with data collection methods and the ability to analyze behavioral data effectively. Experience working with children is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in practice.
