Sheridan School District 2 seeks a systems-focused leader to coordinate and sustain a comprehensive student support model aligned to MTSS, PBIS, and RTI frameworks . This role shifts from primarily direct service delivery to building internal capacity, systems coherence, and sustainable intervention structures beyond the grant lifecycle. The position leads the design, coordination, and continuous improvement of academic and behavioral intervention systems , including tutoring, after-school programming, and targeted student supports. The role ensures that interventions are data-driven, staff are trained and supported, and systems are scalable and sustainable across years.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MTSS / RTI
Systems Leadership Lead implementation and refinement of a school-wide MTSS framework (academic and behavioral) Coordinate Tier 1, 2, and 3 intervention systems, including scheduling, grouping, and progress monitoring Facilitate data cycles, including PLCs, RtI meetings, and intervention reviews Ensure fidelity of intervention practices across staff and programs Develop systems that can be maintained by site leadership beyond grant funding Intervention Coordination & Oversight Design and oversee intervention blocks, small group structures, and progress monitoring systems Support staff in implementing research-based literacy, math, and behavior interventions Provide coaching and modeling for interventionists, paraprofessionals, and teachers Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust based on data PBIS & Student Support Systems Support implementation of PBIS systems aligned to school-wide expectations Collaborate with SEL, behavior, and attendance teams to ensure aligned supports Use behavior and attendance data to inform Tier 2/3 supports Extended Learning (Tutoring & After-School Programs) Coordinate tutoring programs and after-school academic/enrichment opportunities Align extended learning to student needs identified through MTSS processes Supervise program implementation, staffing, and evaluation of impact Professional Development & Capacity Building Provide training to staff on MTSS, intervention strategies, and data use Build internal leadership capacity (teacher leaders, interventionists) Develop systems, protocols, and resources for long-term sustainability Data & Accountability Analyze academic, behavior, and attendance data to guide decision-making Maintain progress monitoring systems and communicate outcomes to staff and leadership Ensure alignment with district priorities and accountability requirementsQUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Valid Colorado Teaching License Demonstrated experience withMTSS/RTI
frameworks Knowledge of literacy and/or math intervention Experience using data to drive instructional decisionsPreferred:
Experience with PBIS implementation Experience coaching adults or leading systems-level work Experience with multilingual learners and/or special education Bilingual preferredGENERAL EXPECTATIONS

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions required the following physical demands: some lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling: and signification fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires sitting, walking, and standing. This job is performed in generally a clean and healthy environment.CLEARANCE
Must clear background check through Colorado Department of Human Services in addition to an online Records check and FBI Fingerprint check through Colorado Bureau of Investigation.SALARY:
Will be based on certified salary pay scale range, depending on experience and expertise.Please note:
This is an at-will position with the Sheridan School District. The annual salary for this position will be determined by number of hours scheduled to work each day and number of days scheduled to work each year. The computed annual salary will be spread out in equal payments over 12 months. Sheridan School District employees are paid once a month on the last working day of the month that is not a weekend day or holiday.BENEFITS
Employees who are scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible to obtain district health benefits which include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance and supplemental benefits. Positions that qualify for health benefits also qualify for leave which could include vacation and daily leave to be determined by the position and number of days assigned. Sheridan School District No. 2 is a public employer and participates in the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA). All employees are required by state statute to contribute 11% of salary on a pre-tax basis to PERA and the District contributes 21% in addition to employee contribution.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
