Most of the field runs on hourly, "we'll see what your schedule looks like this week," cancel-and-lose-your-pay arrangements. We're not that. True Care Behavior is hiring a Support RBT
- a salaried, go-to support role for an experienced RBT who's confident in the field and ready to grow.
You won't be stuck on one case. Instead, you'll be the person we count on to step in wherever the need is greatest that week: covering a session when someone calls out, mentoring a newer RBT or BT, or giving a case extra support when the BCBA can't be there in person. You'll work with kids and teens ages 3 to 18 across a wide range of behaviors, in their homes, all over the Denver, Thornton, and Lafayette areas. Some weeks will look nothing like the last
- and that's the point. Here's the most important part: this role lives and dies by flexibility. You'll have a minimum of 15 scheduled session hours every week , but that schedule isn't set in stone. When a staff member calls out, we need you ready to drop your planned support and go cover that session instead
- sometimes on short notice.
If steady and predictable is what you're after, we'll be upfront: this isn't your fit. But if you can roll with change, stay calm when the plan moves, and actually enjoy variety, you're exactly who we're looking for. This is also a real opportunity to grow. Maybe you're working toward your BCBA and want the kind of broad, hands-on experience you just can't get sitting on one case. Or maybe you're an experienced RBT who wants a stable, salaried seat and a genuine path into leadership
- mentoring staff, running trainings, and helping shape our culture as we grow.
Either way, we're not filling a gap for a few months. We want someone reliable who's ready to plant roots and build something here for the long haul. To do this well, you'll need to bring an active RBT certification in good standing (BACB) and at least one year of experience as an RBT, including real time spent delivering ABA in in-home settings. You should be confident across a broad age range and a wide variety of behaviors, with the clinical skill to support other techs through tough moments
- not just handle your own sessions. You'll need reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, since you'll be driving between homes across Denver, Thornton, and Lafayette, and you should be open to occasional Saturday support (never every week, and always with notice). Above all, we're looking for flexibility and reliability
- that's the heart of this job.
A few quick basics:
Salaried , 20-30 hours per week
- with a minimum of 15 scheduled session hours and the rest in float and fill-in support.
Pay:
$2,000
- $3,500 per month, based on experience. Week-one training and ongoing support from a direct manager who genuinely has your back. If you've been waiting for the role that actually moves your career forward
- this is it. You don't have to choose between stability and growth here; you get both. This is the kind of step that takes you from "just another RBT job" to a real place on a team, with room to lead, train, and build something you're proud of. So if you're ready for a change
- ready to stop bouncing between hourly gigs and plant yourself somewhere with a future
- let's talk.
