In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in care. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and skill acquisition accurately and consistently using established data collection methods Use applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive manner Collaborate with team members to modify treatment strategies based on data insights and client response Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation in medical records Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred We are looking for an RBT with experience implementing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-informed strategies within ABA services and expeirence supporting teenagers. Experience supporting emotional regulation, psychological flexibility, and values-based behavior change is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of special education principles and teaching strategies tailored to diverse learning needs Ability to work effectively with children and individuals requiring patient care and behavioral management support Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and team members Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and care plan implementation is advantageous Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance by safeguarding sensitive medical records and personal information Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required
