Weeks Contract Shift & Schedule Day Shift:
7:30 AM - 3:30 PM 5 days/week (5 x 7.5 hours) 37.5 billable hours per week Role Overview We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a short-term, school-based assignment. The role involves supporting students with behavioral and developmental challenges through structured intervention plans and collaborative care. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) under the supervision of a BCBA Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with special needs Support development of social, academic, and life skills Use positive reinforcement and behavior strategies to encourage desired behaviors Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff Attend required training sessions and team meetings Follow all school policies, procedures, and professional standards Required Qualifications Active RBT Certification (mandatory) Minimum 1 year of school-based experience CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding Ability to work with children with behavioral or developmental challenges Strong communication and documentation skills For more details reach at vgill@navitassols.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
