What is a Registered Behavior Technician? The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services and provides 1 on 1 therapy for children with ASD and other developmental disabilities. Teach children how to play, communicate, and meet developmental milestones. Follow instructional plans developed by BCBAs and monitor outcomes and progress Complete daily summary notes related to your sessions Requirements High School Diploma or GED (this is a requirement of this position to become RBT certified) Direct ABA experience or exposure is a plus, but not necessary! CPR certification (we will schedule and pay for this if you need it) Highly motivated, positive, and energetic
