Job Description
RBT will provide behavioral and instructional support to k-5th grade students with an autism diagnosis or similar behavior challenges. The RBT will implement programming and behavior intervention based on the student's individualized plan created by the student's classroom teacher and BCBA. The classroom RBT will work with a variety of students across all grades. Responsibilities
- Work 7:45am -3:45pm Monday - Friday
- Implement both skill acquisition programming and maladaptive behavior intervention to students' kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Know student intervention plans and implement behavior intervention plans throughout the day with fidelity
- Provide support to students that are working on learning to learn skills within the classroom
- Provide modeling of behavior intervention plans when needed with new team members
- Collect consistent data on student's behavior or academic goals
- Regular meetings with BCBA and Classroom teacher to communicate challenges, progress and ideas to increase success in the classroom
- Complete documentation by deadlines including but not limited to timesheets, client documentation, etc.
- Create visuals or instructional materials for students at BCBA, or teacher's, request
- Follow all HAP and Havern policies
- Maintain a positive attitude and supportive work environment
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Competencies
- High School Diploma
- Willingness to become CDE licensed with Substitute license
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 18 years old
- Current Registered Behavior Technician certification in good standing with BACB
- At least 6 months working as an RBT implementing behavior intervention with children 5-12 years old
- Preferred 1 year working in a school setting Benefits

Pay:
