Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract An engaging opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a school setting in Bridgeport, CT. This contract position focuses on delivering specialized behavioral interventions to students, helping to improve their learning experience and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and develop effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to implement and monitor behavior strategies. Provide direct supervision and training for paraprofessionals and support staff. Collect and analyze data to track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and ethical standards.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current BCBA certification. Experience working in school environments with children exhibiting behavioral challenges. Strong skills in data collection, functional analysis, and intervention development. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks in a dynamic educational setting.
