Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across both elementary and middle school grades (K-5 and 6-8) in a dynamic educational environment. You'll play a pivotal role across two closely adjacent campuses, each with a supportive team atmosphere designed for positive student outcomes. The caseload consists of approximately 40 students, with manageable classroom groupings of 5-6, allowing for focused, meaningful involvement. Your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will help shape student progress and empower colleagues through ongoing collaboration. As part of a well-supported team—including two School Social Workers, multiple Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians, and dedicated Special Education Teachers—you'll find a framework for shared growth and professional success.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active BCBA certification required Experience providing behavior analysis in a school-based setting, preferably across elementary and middle school populations Strong background in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing effective behavior intervention plans Comfortable delivering group staff training and consultations Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Train and guide BTs in implementing effective behavioral strategies Conduct FBAs and collaborate on the development of intervention plans Provide ongoing consultations to teachers and support staff Focus exclusively on supervisory and consultative responsibilities, with no 1:1 student requirements Move easily between two nearby campuses to support diverse student groups This contract role offers the chance to thrive in a supportive school ecosystem, work with passionate professionals, and make a positive impact for both students and staff.
