Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role where you can make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing behavioral support in an educational setting. As a dedicated professional with experience in special education and behavioral management, you will play a key part in fostering growth and success for students with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral challenges. This full-time contract opportunity offers stability and the chance to be part of a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Demonstrated experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar behavioral support role At least 2 years of direct experience in behavior management or special education Familiarity with both 1:1 student support and broader classroom assistance Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic school setting Compassion, patience, and a student-centered mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide both individualized (1:1) and classroom-wide behavioral support Implement behavior intervention strategies for students with autism and behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other school staff to ensure consistent support Maintain documentation and progress notes as required Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment This position is full-time, 31 hours per week (8am to 3pm), closely supporting educators and students throughout the school day.
