This energetic position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions, assisting with daily living skills, and fostering positive growth. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and improve quality of life through compassionate care and precise data collection. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans Support teaching strategies that enhance communication, social skills, and behavioral management for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records securely Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs Provide patient-centered care in a supportive environment that encourages growth, learning, and positive reinforcement Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable Familiarity with special education settings or teaching roles enhances your ability to support diverse learning needs Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management is beneficial Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism and patience in challenging situations Commitment to ongoing learning about behavior management strategies and behavioral health best practices Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated care, innovative teaching methods, and compassionate support.
