Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) near New Haven, CT! Take on a vital role supporting individuals and teams dedicated to student success.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Active BCBA certification is required Previous experience in school or educational settings preferred Strong ability to conduct FBAs and develop effective BIPs Excellent analytical skills to interpret student data and inform interventions Experience supporting and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other school staff Outstanding collaboration and communication abilities with teachers, administrators, and families Knowledgeable in ABA principles and skilled in presenting expertise in multidisciplinary team meetings
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and craft individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs Provide supervision, coaching, and ongoing support to staff implementing behavior plans, particularly RBTs Foster strong partnerships by collaborating with educators, school leaders, and families to ensure cohesive and consistent implementation of behavior strategies across environments Regularly collect, organize, and interpret behavioral data to assess progress and make informed recommendations for intervention adjustments Contribute expertise in applied behavior analysis at IEP meetings, ensuring best practices are implemented for each student This role offers a rewarding chance to enhance students' educational experiences and outcomes through innovative, evidence-based behavioral support.
