Job Description

Looking to hire 2 individuals to add to my son's In Home Support team. Looking for a compassionate caregiver for my intellectually disabled son. This position will be at my home in Shelton. The hours are from 3 PM to 8 PM 2 to 3 days a week. The hours are not flexible as my son gets off the bus around 3 o'clock. There will also be an opportunity to pick up additional hours if you wish. Must have experience working with special needs individuals. Working with individuals with behavioral challenges is a plus. Duties include taking him out in the community daily in my vehicle, Assisting him with daily living skills, Cooking meals for him, showering and Light housekeeping.
I AM NOT LOOKING FOR BABYSITTER OR CNA AS HE HAS NO MEDICAL ISSUES. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS INDIVIDUALS!
Must be 18 years of age, and be willing to have a full background check and have a valid driver's license.
